Natural is beautiful and makeup is gorgeous and glamorous. I think that makeup is just a tool to enhance the beautiful features that we already have, not a mask to cover and to change our face completely. When doing makeup, aim for a natural look and use the right products to achieve that. I did the make-up and hair-do of my beautiful friend for her photo shoot wearing SARI, their traditional gown. She is so beautiful that i just need to enhance it with a touch of makeup, baaaamm! She is all glammed up.
I love doing makeover to other people because of the feeling of satisfaction it gives me. The best part is that after the makeover, the model keep looking at herself in the mirror with the expression ‘ahhh… oohh… uhhh…’ and to see the smile of confidence they have after the makeover means the world to me. My favourite picture is the one with sunset below, she is like a goddess, perfect combination the sari and and the sunset.
I chose MAC lipstick in ‘House Wine’ because it compliments the colour of the Sari, it is a darker red brick colour that has orange and brown undertone that really brightens up her face. On the inner half of the eye i used Half baked a beautiful gold shimmery shade in Naked2 palette that really opens up the eye and also compliment the colour combination of her Sari. Bold and winged eye liner is just a must in every ‘Indian Makeup Look’. Because she has beautiful thick eyebrows, i just used brown eyeshadow to make it more defined but still natural. To complete the look a pair of falsies added more drama to the eyes and to the whole look. Hope you enjoy my post.
